These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by FoldFresh Laundry (“FoldFresh,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a booking or using our services, you (“the Customer”) agree to be bound by the terms below.
1. Nature of Service
FoldFresh Laundry is a mobile-based laundry and cleaning service operating within Johannesburg and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Wash, Dry & Fold
- Wash, Dry & Iron
- Ironing Only
- Dry Cleaning
- Curtain Cleaning
- Shoe Cleaning
- Wedding Dress Cleaning
- On-site Upholstery Cleaning
- On-site Carpet Cleaning
All services are subject to availability, fabric condition, and operational capacity.
2. Minimum Service Fee
- A minimum service fee of R500 per booking applies to all collections, deliveries, and on-site services.
- Orders below the minimum amount will be charged at the R500 minimum rate.
- The minimum fee applies regardless of service type or quantity.
3. Collection and Delivery
- FoldFresh provides collection and delivery at agreed locations and time windows.
- While we aim to meet scheduled times, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, load-shedding, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Customers must ensure access at the agreed time. Missed collections or deliveries may result in rescheduling or additional fees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Remove all valuables (including money, jewellery, and personal items) before handing over garments.
- Declare any special care requirements, stains, fabric sensitivities, or pre-existing damage.
- Confirm quantities and items at handover where applicable.
FoldFresh will not be held responsible for issues arising from undisclosed information.
5. Care, Damage, and Wear
- FoldFresh follows standard professional cleaning practices appropriate for most garments and materials.
- Cleaning may result in normal wear and tear, including colour fading, fabric shrinkage, or fibre weakening, particularly in older, delicate, or heavily worn items.
- Stain removal is not guaranteed, including on shoes and wedding dresses.
FoldFresh does not accept liability or provide compensation for:
- Pre-existing damage or stains
- Manufacturer defects or fabric faults
- Normal wear and tear
- Items cleaned against manufacturer care labels at the Customer’s request
6. Wedding Dress and Shoe Cleaning Disclaimer
- Wedding dresses and shoes are cleaned at the Customer’s risk due to their delicate nature, specialised materials, embellishments, and adhesives.
- Colour variation, bead loss, sole wear, or fabric changes may occur despite best care practices.
7. Limitation of Liability
- FoldFresh operates in line with South African constitutional principles, consumer protection guidelines, and reasonable care standards.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, FoldFresh shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
- No monetary compensation, refunds, or replacements are offered unless legally required.
8. Unclaimed Items
- Items not collected or accepted within 30 days of notification may be deemed abandoned.
- FoldFresh reserves the right to donate or dispose of such items without further notice.
9. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are based on weight, item type, or service category as communicated at booking.
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment is due as agreed (upon delivery, collection, or invoicing).
- Late or non-payment may result in service suspension.
10. Cancellations and Refusal of Service
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows may attract a service or call-out fee.
- FoldFresh reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
11. Health, Hygiene, and Safety
- FoldFresh may refuse items that pose health risks, are excessively soiled, or require specialised biohazard treatment.
- On-site services require safe, accessible working conditions.
12. Privacy
Customer information is handled responsibly and used solely for service delivery, communication, and operational purposes, in line with applicable data protection laws.
13. Amendments
FoldFresh reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

By using FoldFresh Laundry services, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
